7/10/2009 - In Memory of Tina Ambrose
A message from Joshua Dallaire to all his friends, family, and supporters: Yesterday I learned the very sad news that my good friend, colleague, and fellow artist, Tina Ambrose, has passed away. Tina will forever be remembered as an inspiration to my life, and will always hold a special place in my heart, as she was the very first gallery owner who gave me an opening, back in the fall of 2007. She was very professional, and very knowledgable about helping me get my name out through the local papers, and she hosted a wonderful opening reception for me in November of 2007 that was attended by many friends and family, not to mention many locals thanks to her skills at marketing. Tina was very hard-working, professional, and active in her community, and cared very deeply about her fellow artists. Tina promoted the interests of many artists in and around southern Maine, and was an artist in her own right as well. Her artwork captured beautifully the elegance and awe-inspiring beauty of the local landscapes here in Maine. She will sorely be missed as a friend, a confidant, and as a fellow artist, dedicated to promoting the culture of the great state of Maine. Her artwork can be viewed online at: http://www.theoak-anartgallery.com I encourage everyone to check it out! She will forever be a source of inspiration to me in all of my future endeavors. May she rest in peace.
