Joshua Dallaire first discovered his passion for art at a young age, and he has pursued it ever since. A native of Maine, Joshua graduated from Maine College of Art in 2007 with Honors, and has continued to pursue his passion in the years that followed. He has already acquired the recognition of some of Maine’s art critics, and hopes to continue his success in his adoptive state of Vermont. Joshua's drawings have been cited by the wife of former Governor John Baldacci of Maine, as some of the finest art the state has produced. His intricate and energetic style has been well-received at his one man shows, as well as group exhibitions. That exposure has thus far led to two television interviews, as well as numerous other press.

Over the years, Joshua's style of drawing has evolved to blend naturalism and abstract patterning together in order to capture both the intricacies as well as the dominant aspects of his subjects. His work begs the question: where does reality end and abstraction begin? Joshua challenges his viewers with the idea that by looking at the world from a different point of view, the two may become one and the same.
